LaCrosse Footwear has acquired the White's Boots Inc., which makes
custom boots for logging and other commercial applications. Terms of the
deal weren't disclosed.

“This is a union of two great Pacific
Northwest companies,” said Craig Cohen, a LaCrosse Footwear vice
president, in a news release. “White's tradition in U.S. manufacturing
complements the Danner brand. We believe (LaCrosse) can help extend the
reach of the White's brand and infuse the necessary resources to grow
globally.”

Gary March, president of White's, will remain in his
job. White's will remain based in Spokane. The deal includes White's
Spokane factory and 8,900-square-foot retail store where customers can
watch their boots be built by hand.
“We are happy to join the LaCrosse Footwear family,” March said.

In 2012, LaCrosse was acquired by ABC-MART Inc. Its brands included LaCrosse Footwear and Danner Boots.
