U.K.s JD Sports posted a rise in group profit before tax and exceptional items of 26% to £67.4 million ($92 million) in its year ended Jan. 30, up from £53.6 million ($81.4 million) the prior year. Total revenue increased 14.7% to £769.8 million ($1.1 billion) from £671 million ($1 billion) last year. 

 

Comps increased 2.5% – with the Sports Fascias and Fashion Fascias divisions representing 2.3% and 3.6% respectively.

 

Acquisitions made last year included Chausport in France for £7.9 million ($12 million).
