American Recreation has promoted Gwyn Benedict from her position as key account manager at Royal Robbins to sales manager at Isis, the women’s apparel line it is relocating from Burlington, VT to Boulder, CO.

She has a wealth of knowledge in the womens outdoors apparel industry, is a skilled leader with proven expertise in effective sales, and she brings a great deal of passion to creating a culture of success.
Benedict comes to Isis with more than 13 years of experience in the outdoor retail industry. During her career, she has been instrumental in helping accounts grow their business, managing multiple retail operations, conducting dynamic training seminars and delivering excellent customer service.
She will be an integral to growing the Isis active lifestyle brand as the company relocates from Burlington, VT., to join American Recs headquarters in Boulder, CO, to take advantage of resources in place, including the product development, marketing department, and management team.
Benedict began her career at Adventure 16, a specialty retailer based in San Diego, CA, where she was a buyer and store manager. Most recently, Benedict was the key account manager for Royal Robbins, an industry leader in functional and lifestyle outdoor apparel. Her many responsibilities included growing sales with internal accounts, analyzing and reacting to in-season sales data to direct actions to maximize profitability.
