HitchFire Grills is expanding its footprint releasing its Forge 15 grill at REI and Backcountry.com and going live soon with Camping World. The brand, launched in Fall 2020 by the founders of Tepui Tents, is anticipating strong growth moving into 2021 with additional retailers coming onboard and strong market indicators for category growth in the months ahead.
“It’s been amazing to see the rapid uptake of the HitchFire and the Forge 15 Grill especially when we consider that the launch of our brand heralded a new category for vehicle-based recreation, said Evan Curid, president, HitchFire. “The enthusiasm of our new retail partners goes to show the potential they see in this category, and we’re excited to see where that takes us over the next year.”
The Forge 15 grill offers double high-output 7,500 BTU propane burners. Designed to be attached to vehicles with a standard 2-inch receiver and built on an articulating swing arm, the grill makes cooking quicker and cleaner. The hitch-mounted design keeps the mess out of a vehicle and saves valuable trunk space. The grill offers two side tables and an integrated bottle opener.
