GloTech Industries announced that it will sponsor the North American Cycle Courier Championships in Washington DC on August 1-3, 2003.
The Championship is organized by the DC Bicycle Courier Association, an organization that strives to protect the rights of bicycle messengers. The DCBCA, which hosted the Cycle Messenger World Championships in 1998, works closely with the Washington Area Bicyclists Association, the League of American Bicyclists, and a number of USA Cycling race teams, including LSV/Trek. It is one of six cycling and pedestrian advocacy organizations contributing to the “DC Safe Streets Program”.
