Fletcher Leisure Group, parent company to Sunice, AUR Golf Apparel, Tommy Hilfiger Golf and Bridgestone Golf, filed a petition for Chapter 15 protection in New York October 22
following the Superior Court of Quebec’s appointment of a receiver, according to a report in Bloomberg.

According to a report on scoregolf.com, Fletcher Leisure Group is urrently negotiating a restructuring that will include a capital investment.

“The filing of our business is a progressive step in restructuring
Fletcher with our new partner in order to provide the strong foundation
for our business going forward,” president Mark Fletcher told scoregolf.com. “It’s important for people to understand that filing does not
always mean you’re liquidating. There always seems to be that
perception. In this case we have filed to take this progressive step to
solidify our future and growth with all our brands.”
