ExOfficio promoted Steve Bendzak, former VP of Sales of ExOfficio, to General Manager of the outdoor apparel brand. He will report directly to Mark Martin, president of both Marmot Mountain LLC, and the Technical Apparel Platform (TAP) of K2 Inc.

The Technical Apparel Platform is the operating unit in the Apparel and Footwear Division of K2, Inc. responsible for manufacturing and delivering apparel for ExOfficio, K2 Snow, Marmot, Marker apparel, and Volkl apparel. The (TAP) management team, which Steve Bendzak now joins, is responsible for coordinating and leveraging the operations, finance, and strategic sales management of the apparel brands.

“Steve brings a background of retail, sales management, and business development experience to ExOfficio,” says Martin. “He has grown ExOfficio product placement to approximately 1,000 retail doors in the U.S.A. and sales in eight countries globally. This knowledgeable sales-enriched experience makes him the ideal manager to guide ExOfficio towards continued growth and success.”

Since 1991, Bendzak has led the ExOfficio wholesale division of sales, managing their team of twenty independent field representatives as well as a staff of internal sales managers.

“I look forward to building upon the core strengths of the ExOfficio brand such as the development of high-performance, authentic and top quality products for the outdoors and travel,” states Bendzak. “I also intend to further cultivate a customer-centric brand strategy in order to support the existing retailer investments which have helped the ExOfficio brand thrive,” said Bendzak.
