Everlast Worldwide Inc. is back on the licensing wagon, announcing the expansion of a previously existing license with Slace, S.A. de C.V. of Anahuac, Mexico. Whether this will lead to the deluge of deals seen several months ago will be seen, but for now, Everalst has licensed out sport bags, duffels, and back packs in the Mexican market to its partner.
Slace has been the licensee in Mexico for athletic and casual footwear since 2004 and picked up the license for watches in October 2005. The new Everlast sport bags, duffel bags, and back packs will launch next year and, like footwear and watches, will also be available in better department stores, sporting goods stores, and athletic shoe stores.
