EcoVessel has acquired food storage and reusable container company U-Konserve.
The merger with Sausalito, CA-based U-Konserve will merge the companies to offer customers a full line of “zero-waste” reusable drinkware and food storage containers and accessories.
Moving forward, the companies will share supply chain, warehousing, marketing, and distribution networks and look to expand retail partnerships with a steady pipeline of new introductions. Customers and retail buyers can expect to see new products from the companies later this fall and early next year. Jon Fox, founder and CEO of EcoVessel, will be the CEO of the combined business.
“As EcoVessel looks to lessen our impact on the environment and planet, we are excited to partner with a like-minded brand who shares our philosophy and mission to eliminate single-use plastics. With their complementary product line of reusable food containers and accessories, our brands share a commitment to creating stylish and eco-friendly products. Our mission, “Better Vessel, Better World” will be enhanced and accelerated by our merging with U-Konserve. U-Konserve has some very exciting things in development and we welcome the U-Konserve team and their customers to the EcoVessel family,” said EcoVessel CEO Jon Fox.
“While staying true to our mission to reduce waste, our exciting new partnership will help grow both sustainable brands by combining EcoVessel’s hydration expertise together with U-Konserve’s food-storage focus, to offer innovative products to help people wherever they might be on their zero-waste journey,” said Chance Claxton, founder of U-Konserve.
