Dick's Sporting Goods, Inc. announced that Jerel Hollens is joining the company as Senior Vice President of Supply Chain. Mr. Hollens, who joined the company effective this week, is responsible for all aspects of the supply chain, from the planning process to the sales floor, leading the areas of Store Allocation and Replenishment, Merchandise Planning and Analysis, Distribution, and Transportation. Mr. Hollens will report to Bill Colombo, President and COO.
“Jerel is a talented executive who brings a wealth of retail experience to Dick's, and we are excited to have him join our management team,” Mr. Colombo said. “We look forward to the value he will add to the company as he works to integrate and enhance our supply chain, both internally and with our vendors.”
Hollens served most recently as Vice President of Business Design and Merchandise Projects at Gap, Inc. where he led cross-functional teams to implement best practices in supply chain management for all their brands.
Prior to Gap, Inc., Hollens worked with Toys R Us, Kids R Us, and Babies R Us as Vice President of Supply Chain, Merchandise Planning & Allocation, and Merchandise Information Systems. In addition, he has experience with the Target Corporation in Merchandise Planning, Systems, Control, and Training and also with the May Company as Vice President, Planning and Allocation and Merchandise Information Systems where he made significant contributions to the development of their business and supply chain processes.
