Dakine relaunched its fishing category, Dakine Fish, initially launched in the ’80s, and includes fish bags, tackle storage, gloves, and headwear for saltwater and freshwater fishing.

“Dakine’s Hawaiian roots have directly shaped the design and function of the fish category,” said Micah Nickens, surf marketing manager. “This line was inspired by local Hawaiian anglers that spend their days on the coast moving from one fishing spot to another. From there, our goal was to create a product line tailored to the needs of the coastal angler and all anglers looking for trusted and durable gear on any fishing excursion.”

Products include:

  • Ulua 60L Fish Pack, explicitly designed for surf anglers with a built-in cooler and pockets for gear organization. Made from heavy-duty waterproof Cordura coated outer fabric and heavy-duty coated inner liner for waterproofness. The pack’s 20mm closed cell foam insulation keeps fish fresh, while the heavy-duty threaded drain plug offers rapid and slow flow release ports for cleanup. Four adjustable side rod or sand stakeholders, two outer pockets and multiple attachment points for accessories keep tackle and gear organized.
  • Mission Fish Pack 40L and Mission Fish Waist Pack 12 are made with the same heavy-duty waterproof Cordura outer fabric as the Ulua and have ample storage capacity.
  • Freestanding Fish Bag and Flat Fish Bag offer ice retention when additional fish storage is needed. The bags feature 20 mm closed-cell foam insulation, waterproof exterior fabric, a coated PVC inner liner, threaded drain plugs, and corrosion-proof zipper in four-foot or six-foot lengths.
  • 12L Lure Locker provides divided and breathable storage for trolling lures and leaders,
  • Fish Full Finger Glove and Fish Open Finger Glove provide grip and protection for leadering fish.
