Cutter & Buck will launch a new brand for spring 2007, CBUK, which will be geared toward the next generation of fashionable golfers who express their individuality.

CBUK addresses a void Cutter & Buck recognized in the sportswear market for a fashionable line designed for men who enjoy golf yet want to push the style envelope. The collection is characterized by modern styling, a slimmer fit and unexpected details such as scorecard tags and unique prints, off-center logo placement and pieced construction. The application of the brand's buck icon adds an easily identifiable and irreverent twist to the collection.

“We recognized the opportunity for a new brand to bring a fresh perspective to a typically more traditional market,” said Kaia Akre, president of Cutter & Buck. “CBUK has a distinctive edge and provides us with a vehicle to reach a customer we aren't serving with the Cutter & Buck brand.”

CBUK combines functionality and style with an edgier look that is both unexpected and appealing from a fashion perspective. Because this customer demands versatility with his wardrobe, the CBUK line is designed to go easily from the course to off-course occasions. Each delivery in the collection incorporates innovative performance fabrics, clean silhouettes, and layering versatility. The line is built to Cutter & Buck's high quality standards for premium fabrics, durable construction, and superior attention to detail.

“CBUK is about today's golfer who challenges traditional apparel, but still requires all the benefits of technical golf apparel and quality sportswear,” said Julie Snow, vice president of design and merchandising for Cutter & Buck. “Like its wearer, the spirit of CBUK makes a statement.”
