The absence of an El Nino this season means skiers and snowboarders can expect near normal temperatures and snowfall amounts in the Eastern U.S. and good powder through most of the Rocky Mountain region, but below normal snowfall in the Cascades of the Pacific Northwest, according to CustomWeather's Ski Outlook for Winter 2013-2014.
