Chaco is celebrating 50 years of the Grateful Dead with limited-edition
webbing options featuring the classic Dancing Bears and Steal Your Face
designs.

The shoes come as the legendary band is reuniting for one last run of concerts.

“We’re excited for this opportunity to customize the Chaco experience for Grateful Dead fans everywhere, and we look forward to being a part of this historic anniversary,” says Chip Coe, Chaco general manager. “With customization available down to the buckle color, our limited-edition sandals can be as unique as every member of the Dead Head community.”

Beginning in May, Chaco will offer pre-built, limited-edition sandals with two unique Grateful Dead webbing options. Later in the month, using the MyChacos custom design tool, fans can also choose to customize every every aspect of their Grateful Dead Chacos, from the sole to the stitching color. Custom MyChacos will retail for $130 and the limited-edition, stock sandals will retail for $125.

To further support the Grateful Dead events, Chaco will open a pop-up store at Timbuk2’s popular Bucktown location in Chicago leading up to and during the shows. The pop-up store will be open June 22 through July 6.

The Grateful Dead Chaco sandals will be available exclusively at chacos.com and at the Chaco’s pop-up retail store in Chicago.
