Vail Resorts Reduces Earnings Outlook

Vail Resorts Inc. lowering its earnings guidance for its fiscal year ending July 31, 2019, primarily due to the disappointing results from destination visitation in the pre-holiday period and also due to shortfalls from expectations at our Tahoe resorts and Whistler Blackcomb. 

Patagonia, L.L. Bean Near Top Of Reputation Rankings

Patagonia ranked third and L.L. Bean fourth in this year’s Axios Harris Top-100 Poll’s survey ranking the public’s perception of the 100 most visible U.S. companies. Nike, Adidas, Under Armour and Dick’s Sporting Goods also landed on the list.

Bogs Sees Revenues Rebound In 2018

Wrapping up a bounce-back year, Bogs saw sales surged 34 percent in the fourth quarter to wind up ahead 10 percent in the year. The brand finally benefited from timely winter weather while also finding success extending into non-winter styles.

Bogs Revenues Jump 34 percent In Q4

Weyco Group Inc. reported wholesale revenues at Bogs jumped 34 percent in the fourth quarter. Overall sales were $89.6 million, an increase of 12 percent compared to fourth quarter 2017 net sales of $80.3 million.

Patagonia Hires Former General Counsel Of EPA

Patagonia said is has hired Avi Garbow, the Environmental Protection Agency’s longest-serving general counsel, as environmental advocie to “ensure we are doing everything we can to protect our planet.”
