After careful deliberation, Buck Knives announced the decision to move its intended relocation (first quarter 2004) to Post Falls, Idaho, back to the first quarter of 2005. The revised timeline for moving its operations was to accommodate the complexities a move of this type presents, and to ensure current employees are provided with adequate transition assistance.

“The original relocation timeline as outlined was extremely aggressive,” said CJ Buck, president and CEO of Buck Knives. “The new target dates allow the company to take steps to ensure the needs of its employees are met and better address the challenges involved in making a move such as this.”

Buck Knives remains committed to move its operations to Post Falls, the reasons it originally chose to relocate to Idaho remain today. Buck Knives believes Idaho represents the best long-term environment to conduct its business, and looks forward to working with all interested stakeholders to make the transition as smooth and successful as possible.
