Backcountry, a leading online retailer of outdoor gear and apparel, and wedding company Zola formed an exclusive registry partnership. Through Zola, engaged couples can now register directly for outdoor equipment from Backcountry. The online retailer’s customers can also register for gifts, experiences and cash funds on Zola. Backcountry will connect to Zola from its homepage.

“Millennial couples want to register for gifts that they will actually use, and wedding guests want to give gifts that have personal meaning to the couple,” said Shan-Lyn Ma, CEO and founder of Zola. “We are thrilled to partner with Backcountry because not only are they pioneers in outdoor retail but also leaders in e-commerce. We know this outdoor collection will resonate quickly with our couples.”

Backcountry selected an assortment of products from some of its most successful brands to add as gifts on Zola. These brands include: Alite Designs, Basin and Range, Camp Chef, Deuter, Eureka, Exped, Granite Gear, Goal Zero, Jetboil, Kammok, Lowe Alpine, Mountainsmith, Rab and Silva. Gifts range from the most popular, expected outdoor and hiking equipment to more unique gifts such as a solar panel for smartphones, hammocks and a compass.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Zola and enable adventurous newlyweds to get outside and create memories that will last a lifetime,” said Jonathan Nielsen, CEO of Backcountry. “Zola is the ideal partner as both our brands are laser-focused on providing the best possible online shopping experience.”
