American Rec, which owns the Kelty, Sierra Designs, Slumberjack and Isis brands, consolidated its local operations and leased a 32,000-square-foot space
in Gunbarrel, according to the Daily Camera.

The newspaper cited a broker involved with the deal announced this week.

American Rec signed a 7-year lease for the contiguous space at 6235
Lookout Road, where it previously leased four separate units for its
Kelty, Sierra Designs, Slumberjack and ISIS companies. The four separate units ranged from 3,000 to 10,000 square feet, according to the report. The remodel and expansion of roughly 5,000 square feet will convert
the four units into one space is meant to improve efficiency,
productivity and communication.
 
“The new building remodel will meet the new demands of the consolidated divisions along with anticipated growth over the next several years,” Brett Jordan, chief executive of American Rec's equipment group, said in a statement.

Other American Rec brands include Ultimate Direction, Royal Robbins, Wenzel, Mountain Trails, Rokk and insta-bed.
