Outdoor sister brands Alite Designs and Boreas Gear have hired Elliott Nolan as their new North American Sales Manager.
Prior to joining Alite and Boreas, Nolan was with Outdoor Adventure Sales, the West Coast sales agency for The North Face, where he held various positions including corporate initiatives manager, Alaska & Oregon territory sales representative and Pacific Northwest performance & action sports representative.
“We are very pleased to welcome Elliott to our management team,” said Tae Kim, founder of Alite Designs & Boreas Gear. “He has a proven leadership background in sales and marketing, in addition to experience driving new and innovative outdoor gear into new markets. Elliott also really lives the company ethos, with a real passion for the outdoors.”
Nolan added, “I am very excited to be joining both the Alite and Boreas teams. Alite is playing a critical role reshaping the outdoor industry to make the outdoors more accessible and fun, while Boreas’ design aesthetic is cutting edge and absolutely compelling. Both brands have incredible potential.”
“Alite Designs is dedicated to creating well-designed products that are extremely functional, ridiculously fun to use, and encourage folks to get their bodies into the fresh air,” company officials said. “Our lightweight and portable chairs, day packs, and bags are the perfect companions for music festival weekends or simple day trips to the park or beach. Alite aims to produce products that make going outside simple for young urbaneers, especially if they are new to the outdoors.”
“Boreas is a collaborative of outdoor industry folks with a shared vision for the future of outdoor equipment,” company officials said. “We think the best designs come from time, testing, and concentration. We see an opportunity for better travel equipment, designed from the ground up, all designed for users who adventure around the globe, and/or explore their local mountain range.”
