Accolade Group has been appointed as the exclusive North American Distributor for Besson Ski Wear and Briko Ski and Cycling products. Accolade Group will be responsible for the 2008 autumn/winter shipping season. Accolade Group has also been appointed the exclusive distributor for the Remare Sandals and R Sandals line for the Canadian market.
Jeffrey Dyet, General Manager of Brands Accolade Group, has this to say: “We are confident that these products will be welcomed in the North American market. We believe that with the service oriented team we have assembled and the sales and distribution infrastructure we have built, we will be able to support the brands as they grow in the select markets we enter. Our goal is to build brands for long-term growth and sustainability. This will be achieved by providing a high level of support for both the retailer and consumer.”
Steve Wagner, V.P. Sports Division, will lead the Besson and Briko teams. Steve has an extensive background in sports products and successful brand management, most recently with the Mizuno running product. An avid skier and cyclist with over 25 years of experience in the sporting goods industry, Steve will bring an athletes perspective to both of these high performance product lines.
Debbie Williams, V.P. Sales, will lead the Remare team. Debbie has more than 35 years experience in the footwear business in Canada and was key in the establishing brands such as Hush Puppies, Aerosoles and Nine West in Canada.
