SCOTT USA has hired Miles Gaddy as its New England territory agent. He brings more than 25 years of sales and management experience to the Scott USA sales team. Having made the progression from mechanic, to bike shop manager, to inside sales representative and then to territory manager, he has weathered the merger mania of several cycling industry organizations such as Lawee Inc., Raleigh, and Schwinn. Miles Gaddy said, “I was eager to join forces with the strong and burgeoning Scott brand. When I take a Scott bike into key specialty retailers and show them the weight and the quality finish, they get excited.”
Scott Montgomery said, “I was very impressed with the style and passion with which Miles presents the products. He was so excited in Philadelphia when our Saunier Duval- Prodir team won the US Pro championships that I knew we had picked the right partner for the New England territory.” Glen VanCura, owner of Daves Cycle & Fitness, said, “The people that do well, establish good relationships. Miles Gaddy dots the “is” and crosses the “ts. He does a good job.”
Miles Gaddy formally joins Scott USA June 16, 2004. Next week, he will be traveling to Switzerland with other sales personnel to review the 05 product line and complete finishing touches to the 05 product and pricing strategy.
