Spenco has hired a New Balance sales veteran to lead the charge for increasing its presence in the growing “running specialty” market. Len Chatwin will serve as running specialty sales director, a new position created by Spenco.
Chatwin has spent the last 15 years covering independent retailers with products like New Balance and Brooks shoes and apparel.
Spenco’s roots are in running specialty, a market the company dominated for many years, said Vice President of Sales and Marketing Jeff Antonioli.

Antonioli said Chatwin has forged strong relationships with running specialty sales associates and owners nationwide. He has earned a reputation for taking brands in his territory to market share positions much higher than national averages.
