Sanita Footwear L.L.C., the U.S. division of the Danish footwear company, Sanita Footwear A/S, has relocated its headquarters from Temecula, CA, to Houston, TX, as the company takes on a partnership with its new CEO in the U.S., Albert Chidiac.

Sanita's hand-crafted clogs are manufactured and imported from its European factories, and the new Houston location will provide a centrally located U.S. distribution headquarters.

“This is an exciting move for us at Sanita,” said Claus Thomsen, C.O.O of Sanita in Denmark. “We know that we will be able to better serve the growing needs of our retailers and customers, and we look forward to expanding our U.S. division.”

With the new distribution center, Sanita will have easier access to its network of retailers in the U.S., which will expedite the speed of deliveries nationwide. Sanita's new facility, located off Beltway 8 at 4023 Westhollow Parkway, will feature a 50,000-square-foot distribution center. It will open at the start of the New Year.

Formerly, Chidiac served as the C.O.O of the European Walking Store in Houston. Chidiac brings to Sanita years of experience in technology, footwear and management. As a long-time Sanita retailer, Chidiac is familiar with the Sanita brand and its product line of Danish footwear.
