Pacific Recreation Sales (PacRec), based out of Bakersfield, California, has been retained by Mountainsmith LLC to oversee sales and marketing efforts in California, Arizona, Nevada and Hawaii. Mountainsmith is a maker of outdoor packs, camera bags, storage solutions and adventure-travel luggage. Pacific Recreation Group is owned and managed by Jeremiah (“JJ”) Anderson. The announcement was made by Jay Getzel, national sales manager for Mountainsmith.
JJ, a respected sales veteran, intends to strengthen Mountainsmith’s commitment in the territory. He has contracted 23- year industry professional, Jesse Donoho, to provide advisory and sales management support. Along with Mountainsmith, PacRec represents FGXI/ Gargoyles Optics and Hill Sound Equipment. Their goal is to actively maintain existing dealer relationships while taking advantage of a territory rich in outdoor activities in order to build the Mountainsmith brand. They will focus on providing targeted product assortments that fit the needs of their market.
