Frasers Group, the U.K.-based parent of Sports Direct, submitted a planning application for a new global headquarters campus at Ansty in Rugby, Warwickshire, England. The company’s current headquarters are in Shirebrook, Derbyshire.
Frasers Group also includes Sports Direct, Flannels, Frasers, USC, and Everlast.
If approved, the new campus would create 7,500 jobs and add £300 million in gross value to the region. The campus will include logistics space, offices, R&D, retail, hotel, and leisure facilities. A gym, bookable courts and pitches are also planned and open to the public.
Frasers Group said in a media statement, “We have worked closely with local partners to develop proposals for a global headquarters campus at Ansty. This would deliver a well-located, world-class platform to further bolster our elevation strategy, sector-leading ecosystem and growth ambitions. A planning application has now been submitted, and we will continue to work with our partners through the planning process.”
