Mayweather Boxing + Fitness is celebrating the first anniversary of its downtown Chicago Studio. In 2020, the Studio surpassed sales and membership goals, with growth projections anticipated to steadily rise this year.
“The biggest opportunities often come from the biggest challenges,” said James Williams, CEO, Mayweather Boxing + Fitness. “Over the past year, we have adapted as a brand and developed our model further to set our franchisees up for even greater success as fitness markets opened up in 2020. Sara, our Chicago franchisee, has brought an incredible, diverse, supportive fitness community to Chicago and has proven to be a talented and passionate operator. We look forward to witnessing her continued growth in the downtown Chicago location and are excited for her to open her next location later this year.”
“I was drawn to the Mayweather brand largely for the authenticity of the concept and the connection to greatness. By embracing this mentality, I can keep my eye on the long-term goal of connecting the Chicago community with a motivating fitness experience that inspires anyone to build strength and optimum health in the body and mind where we can all channel our ‘inner champ,’” said McSpedon. “The Mayweather team has been incredibly supportive throughout my first year as a franchise owner. We’ve pivoted, adapted and grown through an unprecedented time, setting this Studio for even greater success in building the Mayweather Boxing + Fitness fitfam.”
In honor of its anniversary, the Chicago Studio will host activities from March 13-14.
The downtown Chicago Studio was the first to open in the Midwest and is the first of several locations McSpedon plans to open in the area, with the additional Studios anticipated to open later this year.
Mayweather Boxing + Fitness is scheduled to open a record number of new Studios in 2021, with multiple locations in the Midwest and across the country.
