Performance headwear manufacturer Headsweats expanded its list of charitable partners to include the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS). Headsweats will be a premier sponsor of the organization’s 23rd Annual Buddy Walk in New York City on Saturday, September 16. The brands also produced a collection of more than 15 NDSS-branded headwear styles, with a portion of sales going to the nonprofit organization.
“We are so excited and deeply honored to begin working with the National Down Syndrome Society,” said Headsweats President Mike McQueeney. “Finding creative ways to support the causes that matter most to us is a critical part of the Headsweats mission.”
NDSS is the leading human rights organization for individuals with Down Syndrome. Its program priorities include advocacy and policy; inclusive health and sports; community outreach and resources; and public awareness.
The NDSS headwear collection will be one of three available at headsweats.com that donate a percentage of sales to charity. Headsweats customers can also support the National Park Foundation and Diabetes Sports Foundation through their headwear purchases.
