For Yonex, a Japanese manufacturer of golf, tennis and badminton equipment, total sales for the first quarter ended June 30 edged up 1.7% to ¥9.08 billion ($99 mm) from ¥8.93 billion ($92 mm) in the prior-year period.

 

The company swung to a net loss of ¥136.0 million ($1.5 mm) from a net income of ¥121.0 million ($1.2 mm) in fiscal Q1 last year.
