Woolrich, located less than forty miles from Beaver Stadium, home of the Penn State Nittany Lions, announced its title sponsorship of the Fan Festival at all Penn State home football games. The Woolrich Fan Festival consists of numerous interactive fan events leading up to game-time kick off.

“Woolrich and the Penn State Nittany Lions are two great Pennsylvania institutions and we're excited to be a part of the legendary Penn State football tradition,” said Brent Hollowell, Woolrich VP of Marketing.

“We are excited to have Woolrich as title sponsor of the Fan Festival,” said Penn State Sports Properties' General Manager, Pat Fagan.  “They understand the passion and pride fans have for Penn State football, and it's an automatic tie for Woolrich with headquarters so close to Happy Valley.”

During each Woolrich Fan Festival, Woolrich will be hosting product giveaways and distributing coupons for discounts at Woolrich.com and its flagship store in Woolrich, PA.

“Our product line-up of wool blankets, flannel shirts, and parka's are as rugged as the Nittany Lion's offensive line and are a perfect companion for tailgating and enjoying the game no matter what mother nature throws at you this fall,” added Hollowell.

The Woolrich Fan Festival opens at 9am (EST) for games with 12pm kick-offs and at 10am for 3:30pm game times.  The Fan Festival features the Penn State Tailgate Show, broadcasted live from the festival, music and various booths featuring food, games and, giveaways.

Penn State Sports Properties, the multimedia rights holder for Penn State Athletics, secured the Woolrich partnership on behalf of the University.
