Wolverine World Wide, Inc. appointed Nicholas Long as the lead independent director of its Board of Directors.

Long, a Wolverine Worldwide director since 2011 and current chair of the company’s Compensation Committee, succeeds Dr. David T. Kollat, who will remain on the Board.

Longis a veteran of consumer-focused brands with global experience from his over thirty-year career. From 2011 until his retirement in 2015, Long was the CEO of MillerCoors, LLC. Before that he was CEO and CMO of the Miller Brewing Company. Before entering the beer industry, Long spent 17 years at The Coca-Cola Company as President of its Northwest Europe Division, president of its UK and Ireland divisions, and held senior marketing positions.
