For the eighth year in a row, Wolverine has been awarded the Plus Award for excellence in design in the work footwear category. Wolverine will be honored with its Plus Award at the World Shoe Association (W.S.A) Show in Las Vegas.
“It's unique that Wolverine is the only eight-time winner,” said Greg Dutter, associate publisher and editor-in-chief of Footwear Plus. “It's not easy from one year to the next to meet and exceed expectations, and that says a lot.”
Footwear Plus conducted its eighth annual Plus Awards this year, compiling votes from footwear retailers to honor the best designs in more than 20 categories.
“Winning this award each year since its inception is an outstanding achievement for the Wolverine brand,” said Ted Gedra, president of the Wolverine Footwear Group. “Such accolades this many years in a row not only tells us were on the right track, but motivates us to work that much harder to continue earning the respect of those who trust in the Wolverine brand.”
