The NFCA (National Fastpitch Coaches Association) announced that Wilson Sporting Goods will continue its relationship with the association, signing a multi-year deal that focuses on education for the high school, travel ball and youth coaching communities.

Wilson, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-performance sports equipment, apparel and accessories, will be the title sponsor for the Grassroots Summit and the Travel Ball/High School joint Caucus at the NFCA Convention. Wilson will have a 10-minute speaking segment and be raffling off equipment at each session. An annual vendor at the Convention’s exhibit show, Wilson features one of the largest booths in the exhibit hall.

“Our partnership with the NFCA is a connection that helps provide a pathway for future growth of softball by educating and connecting the nation’s best minds and best brands in the game with travel ball coaches, players and fastpitch students across the country,” said Allison Parsell, Wilson Fastpitch Promotion Manager, Baseball/Softball Division. “The NFCA continues to work hard to improve fastpitch softball through education and information to fastpitch coaches and players across the country, as we continually strive to improve fastpitch with innovative technology and a quality product.”

Wilson will continue to be the title sponsor of the NCAA Division I, II and III Players (Louisville Slugger) and Pitchers of the Week (Wilson) as well as donating pink bats to the top fundraisers of the NFCA’s StrikeOut Cancer initiative.

“We are thrilled to have Wilson Sporting Goods renew their official sponsorship,” said NFCA Executive Director Carol Bruggeman. “They have been a longtime partner of the NFCA and we truly appreciate their loyal commitment to our coaches and our Association. Wilson personnel work tirelessly to provide cutting-edge products for student-athletes and coaches. Using these quality products enhances opportunities for on-field success. Jennie Ritter and her team are proven champions on and off the field. We look forward to working with them on our initiatives to grow the game.”
