Wenger Opens First U.S. Store

Wenger has opened its first U.S. store, in Boulder, CO. The 3,000 square-foot store will open in April and sell Wenger’s new line of technical footwear; tents, sleeping bags and backpacks. The shop will be the first Wenger store in the U.S. and will carry all of the company’s 130 knives and its full line of watches.

Wenger, the maker of the Swiss Army knife, opened its first U.S. store, in Boulder, CO. The 3,000-square-foot store will open in April and sell Wenger’s new
line of technical footwear; tents, sleeping bags and backpacks.

The shop will be the first Wenger store in the United States and will
carry all of the company’s 130 knives and its full stock of watches, according to the Daily Camera. The store also will serve as a showroom for Wenger’s retailer.

The store “is going to be the mother ship and testing ground for new products,” said aid Melissa Page, marketing manager for Established Brands
International, a Wenger Footwear licensee that is managing the Boulder
store.
