Firearms manufacturer Weatherby Inc. completed the relocation of its manufacturing operations and corporate headquarters to Sheridan, WY from California.
Weatherby said the grand opening on June, 13 drew more than 5,000 visitors.
Adam Weatherby made strong opening statements at the ribbon cutting ceremony along with Ed Weatherby, First Lady of Wyoming Jennie Gordon, Former Governor of Wyoming Matt Mead, Mayor of Sheridan Roger Miller, Business Council CEO Shawn Reese, and Executive Director of Sheridan Travel & Tourism Shawn Parker.
“I am so grateful for Weatherby’s past and rich heritage that began so many years ago in Southern California with my grandfather. I am so incredibly grateful for the state of Wyoming and the many others that helped get us to our new home”, says Adam Weatherby.
Founded in 1945, Weatherby’s line features the Mark V rifles (production and custom), Vanguard rifles, and shotguns like the 18i, Orion, Element and SA-08.
