The National Sporting Goods Association Board appointed Kevin Bezanson of Cleve’s Source for Sports and Greg Miller of Universal Athletic to its board of directors.

Bauer Gets New CEO

Peak Achievement Athletics Inc., the successor company to Performance Sports Group, appointed Edward G. Kinnaly as the CEO of the Bauer, Cascade and Maverik businesses, effective June 1. The new owners of Peak Achievement Athletics are searching for a separate CEO to manage the Easton business.

OIA Criticizes Exit From Paris Climate Agreement

In response to the withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement, Amy Roberts, executive director at Outdoor Industry Association (OIA), in a letter stated that President Trump “has abandoned the United States’ leadership on this critical issue and has ignored the voice of individuals and businesses across the country, including many in the outdoor industry.”
