Retail and industry trade groups – including OIA, SFIA, SIA, AAFA, NRF, RILA and CTA – all welcomed the tariff delay on $250 billion worth of Chinese goods while urging for a longer-term solution. The delay came as the U.S. and China agreed on the outlines of a partial trade accord.
