Tremblant Capital Group, which owns 5.1 percent of Skechers, wrote to the company’s board Wednesday urging it to end its Skechers’ dual-class share structure, start an aggressive share buyback program, pay a dividend and improve its communication with investors, according to a regulatory filing.

PVH Corp. Sees Q3 Revenue Gain

PVH Corp. reported third-quarter revenue increased 10 percent to $2.33 billion compared to the prior-year period, despite worsening logistics disruptions in October, including significant U.S. port delays. Sales grew 12 percent for the Tommy Hilfiger brand and 22 percent for Calvin Klein.

Sparc To Run U.S. Reebok Operations For Authentic Brands Group

Authentic Brands Group (ABG) signed a long-term strategic partnership with Sparc Group to become the core licensee and operating partner for Reebok in the U.S. Sparc, a joint venture between ABG and Simon Property Group, operates Aéropostale, Brooks Brothers, Eddie Bauer, Forever 21, Lucky Brand and Nautica, among other brands.

Snipes To Acquire Jimmy Jazz

European lifestyle retailer Snipes is expanding its presence in the U.S. by acquiring U.S. sneaker chain Jimmy Jazz. The acquisition will approximately triple Snipes door count in the United States, as the retailer’s store network grows from just over 100 stores to almost 270.

NRF: Nearly 180 Million Shop Over Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend

According to the annual survey released by the National Retail Federation and Prosper Insights & Analytics, nearly 180 million Americans shopped during the five-day holiday shopping period from Thanksgiving Day through Cyber Monday. The number of shoppers compares with 186.4 million shoppers in 2020 but exceeded the NRF’s initial expectations by over 21 million and is in line with the average of the last four years.
