Philadelphia 76ers All-Star center Joel Embiid announced he will launch his first signature shoe with Under Armour later this fall. Officially dubbed the Under Armour Embiid 1, the late 2020 launch will make Embiid the only current center in the NBA with a signature shoe.
The Embiid 1 will be the third signature basketball shoe for Under Armour, following the ongoing Stephen Curry line and early Brandon Jennings series.
The announcement was made last week at Under Armour’s Human Performance Summit in Baltimore that launched the company’s new “The Only Way Is Through” global advertising campaign.
