The UMass Lowell Athletic Department has extended its partnership with Under Armour and All Sports Heroes through 2027.

“In all of our pursuits every day, we are continually trying to make sure our student-athletes have everything they need to perform at their best and we believe that continuing our partnership with Under Armour is one important way of doing that,” said UMass Lowell Director of Athletics Peter Casey. “We are excited for the next five years and seeing what our River Hawk teams can do while competing with the best apparel and equipment we can provide for them.”

Under Armour first became the official outfitter of UMass Lowell Athletics in 2013, in conjunction with the department’s transition to NCAA Division I status.

The agreement marks the second five-year contract extension between UMass Lowell and Under Armour. The newest iteration of the deal will provide even greater support to the River Hawk athletic programs and student-athletes. Through the partnership, Under Armour will continue to provide on-field and training gear for the River Hawks’ 14 Division I programs.

In accordance with the new extension, UMass Lowell will also remain partnered with Lowell-based UA vendor, All Sports Heroes.

“As a graduate of UMass Lowell’s marketing program and President of All Sports Heroes, I am proud to continue our partnership with UMass Lowell’s growing Division I athletic program and the Under Armour team,” commented All Sports Heroes President Cindy Kuenzler. “Together we improve the performance and look of the premier athletes of the Merrimack Valley.

Under Armour’s roster of NCAA partners also includes Maryland, Auburn, Notre Dame, Cincinnati and Navy.
