Abhi Bhatt, formerly senior director, head of connected products at Under Armour, has joined Thalmic Labs, which produces the wearable motion-controlled device called the Myo armband.
Bhatt becomes Thalmic Labs’ vice president of product experience.
At Under Armour, Bhatt was in charge of the company’s connected products, including the HealthBox fitness tracking system and the SpeedForm Gemini 2 running shoes. He joined Under Armour in May 2014 as director of product & engineering, wearables & platform. His previously worked for Microsoft and Frog Design.
