True Fitness Technology Inc. issued a statement confirming its acquisition of Octane Fitness from Nautilus, Inc.
“The Octane brand is recognized for delivering superior products and services. Octane’s history is based on a passion for fitness and innovation. We believe this aligns with True’s own 40 years of expertise and dedication to superior products, dealers and end-users. The addition of the Octane product line will further strengthen True’s product offerings. The combination of products will allow us to serve the full spectrum of markets residentially, commercially, and internationally,” said Frank Trulaske, CEO of True Fitness Technology.
True will continue to be privately-held and operations will remain in St. Louis.

Octane’s and True’s distribution channels have historically differed from each other, so the True–Octane combination will offer new opportunities for both True and our comprehensive dealer network.
