Trek Bicycle selected Amber Road’s Trade Automation solution to mange its landed costs and global trade.
Looking to automate its global supply chain, shipping and product classification processes, Trek Bicycle elected to use Amber Road’s cloud-based Trade Automation solution, which is expected to provide Trek with a return on their investment within three years by lowering many costs associated with logistics and trade operations.
“Trek looks forward to reducing reliance on expedited courier shipments, lowering freight expenses and reducing manual efforts while more effectively managing landed costs through its partnership with Amber Road,” said Roger Gierhart, VP of supply chain at Trek Bicycle.
Trek bicycles and cycling products are sold through 5,000 independently-owned retail locations in over 90 countries across North and South America, Europe and Asia.
“We applaud Trek’s commitment to streamlining its supply chain and trade compliance processes with one centralized global trade management solution,” said Jim Preuninger, CEO of Amber Road. “We look forward to helping them lower logistics costs and expand their global business.”
