Topgolf Entertainment Group announced it has officially kicked off the development of its latest venue in North Charleston.
Construction on the new, two-level, 72-bay venue is scheduled to begin early next year and is projected to open in late 2022. This will be Topgolf’s third venue in South Carolina, with existing locations in Greenville and Myrtle Beach.
“Charleston is an ideal community for Topgolf. It has a vibrant culture with individuals seeking new and exciting experiences,” said Topgolf Chief Development Officer Chris Callaway.
Located near the intersection of Tanger Outlet Drive and International Blvd., Topgolf Charleston will be situated in proximity to the North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center, Charleston Area Convention Center and other popular destinations within the Charleston area. The company is expected to employ more than 300 at this location.
Topgolf recently opened its 70th global venue.
