Top of the World, a leading collegiate apparel and headwear provider and a key licensee partner for Michigan State, along with local retailer Alumni Hall, are hosting a Michigan State retail and experiential pop-up shop at the East Lansing Marriott at University Place from October 16 through 21.
The pop-up shop will be a one-stop-shop for Michigan State apparel, rivalry gear, trivia and prizes as fans prepare for the Michigan vs. Michigan State game on October 20.
“We are excited to partner with Michigan State and Alumni Hall to launch our first-ever pop-up shop,” said Renata Kukowski, Top of the World vice president of licensing and marketing. “The store will offer a unique experience, not only showcasing the newest Michigan State product but also offering fun and interactive events throughout the week to get students and fans excited for the game.”
What fans can expect:
- Michigan State and MSU-UM Rivalry apparel, gift items and game gear from Top of the World, Simple Modern, Garb, Cutter & Buck, Gameday Couture, Rock ‘Em Apparel, Logo Brands and SKICKS
- Rivalry trivia tournaments for prizes
- Photo and social media opportunities, including a selfie wall fully designed with Sharpie markers by celebrity shoe designer Jordana Schrager and rivalry hashtag promotions
- MSU on-campus scavenger hunt that gives students the opportunity to win a grand prize pack with gift cards, merchandise from the pop-up shop and Top of the World swag
- Ultimate Fan Giveaway contest for a chance to win two coveted tickets to Saturday’s game as well as merchandise from the pop-up shop
“We are really excited to partner with Top of the World, one of our top licensed vendors, to create a unique shopping experience for fans throughout the rivalry week leading up to the Michigan game and throughout the weekend,” said Samantha Stevens, Michigan State University’s director of licensing. “We’re also looking forward to bringing in some Michigan State classes and giving them a firsthand learning opportunity when it comes to licensed merchandise, retail product lines and retail marketing.
