Thule announced the hiring of Chris Dannewitz as V.P. of Business Development, effective immediately. Dannewitz will be responsible for researching and identifying strategic acquisitions and assisting in the development and implementation of product, brand, and business channel growth strategies. He will report directly to Thule Inc. CEO Fred Clark.
“Chris brings a wealth of car rack industry knowledge and will be a great asset as we continue to grow and expand our business,” said Fred Clark, Thule Inc. CEO.
Dannewitz joins Thule after a career with Yakima that spanned more than fifteen years. While at Yakima, Dannewitz held various positions including Category Business Manager, Director of Product Management, and most recently Senior Director of Land Sports Business.
“I always had the utmost respect for Thule while at Yakima,” said Dannewitz. “Thule has been on a roll for the last few years and I am excited to be a part of their team and their prospects for the future.”
Dannewitz will work from his hometown of Mckinleyville, CA, just up the road from his former employer’s current headquarters in Arcata.
