Thule acquired its Norwegian distributor of trailers in Norway, Brenderup Tilhengersenter AS. The company has 10 employees and sales of about 40 million Norwegian krona ($6.6 mm). The unit will be integrated into Thule's business area Trailers, which has 1.2 million Swedish krona sales ($170,000) per year.
“Brenderup Tilhengersenter is Norway's biggest trailer retailer and for the last 32 years the distributor of Brenderup and Fogelsta trailers which are a part of the Thule group. The acquisition gives us larger opportunities to come closer to the Norwegian end clients and to strengthen our position on the Norwegian market”, says Kenneth Lundahl, President of Business Area Trailers of the Thule group.
