The Buckle, Inc. announced that comparable store sales decreased 6.8 percent in July year-over-year.
Net sales for the 4-week fiscal month ended August 3 increased 3.8 percent to $98.7 million from net sales of $95.1 million for the prior year’s 4-week fiscal month ended July 29, 2023.
Comparable store net sales for the 13-week second quarter decreased 6.6 percent. Net sales decreased 3.4 percent to $282.4 million compared to net sales of $292.4 million for the prior year.
Comparable store net sales year-to-date for the 26-week period decreased 7.7 percent. Net sales decreased 5.3 percent to $544.9 million compared to net sales of $575.3 million.
