The Athlete’s Foot (TAF) announced Romano Cinelli as its new vice president and general manager for TAF’s territories in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Romano will manage business operations, including marketing, merchandising, retail operations, and brand partner management for Nike/Jordan, Adidas, New Balance, Reebok, and Puma in the EMEA. He is also responsible for developing and implementing growth strategies to drive business for TAF’s store portfolio plus e-commerce business in the EMEA.

Before joining TAF, Cinelli was vice president and general manager of Converse EMEA and GM of Southern Europe Sportswear for Nike for nearly a decade. He is a veteran working with businesses at multinational corporations and navigating various countries and market cultures.
TAF has 550 stores and e-commerce shops in 30-plus countries. Its global headquarters are located in Stans, Switzerland and Atlanta, GA in the United States.
