The Tecnica Group SpA, based in Giavera del Montello, Italy, announced that Peter Weavers two-year commitment as CEO of The Tecnica Group SpA will end Aug. 31, 2014.  Weaver will continue his position as CEO of the Tecnica Group USA and remain on the Board of Tecnica Group SpA.

Weavers accomplishments as CEO of Tecnica Group SpA include improvements in systems and operations, alignment of key team members, branding initiatives and awareness, inventory control, and subsidiary efficiency and focus.  

It has been very gratifying to see the focus of the key team members shift from local solutions to a more global basis, Weaver commented.  Global solutions are becoming the norm, and I feel the company is better positioned to capitalize on that today than it was a few years ago.

As CEO of Tecnica Group USA, Weaver will focus his attention on improving the performance of the brands in the USA and Canada, new Nordica USA sales direction and international brand management.  

Effective Sept. 1, 2014, Alberta Zanatta will hold the position as Interim CEO of Tecnica Group SpA.  Weaver will remain involved with the executive search for a new CEO and will assist with the transition.  

The Tecnica Group SpA owns and distributes Tecnica, Blizzard, Nordica, Rollerblade, Bladerunner, Lowa, Moon Boot and T-Shoes worldwide.  The Tecnica Group focuses on building quality, performance products for
