Team Express has acquired Brett Brothers Baseball, the Spokane Valley, WA-based baseball bat manufacturer. Team Express has secured the worldwide rights to the Brett brand and will expand the line with new products and increased distribution.

Operating independently of other Team Express entities, a rep group is being developed to place Brett Brothers gear in additional retail locations. Also available at BaseballExpress.com, current offerings include wood bats, gloves, baseballs, training aids, apparel, sunglasses, accessories and collectibles.

Hall of Fame infielder George Brett will support the company through strategic counsel, sales development and personal appearances. The only player in Major League Baseball history to win a batting title in three different decades joins the Team Express family alongside fellow Cooperstown enshrine Johnny Bench.

“For more than 10 years, Brett Brothers has replicated George Brett’s iconic stature with high-quality products,” says Mark Marney, CEO of Team Express. “Between our best-in-class customer service and extensive reach within the game, players nationwide can more easily access the elite-level performance of Brett Brothers’ products at modest pricing.”

Ben Marney, Dan Shepler and Kyle Briggs will lead the Brett Brothers business unit from Team Express headquarters in San Antonio, TX. This central location allows for reduced shipping time and costs.
